Since 1991 Brewster’s Shadow Lake Lodge has been serving guests in a unique and relaxing atmosphere. Situated in the high alpine meadows of Banff National Park; it serves as a remote country lodge, with cabins, accessible only by cross-country skiing, hiking or mountain bike. Access requires a 14-km traverse. You can meander around Shadow Lake or venture further to Bell Pass or Haiduk Lake.

You can climb Gibbon Pass for the vista or take a circle trip over Whistling Pass to Egypt Lake and Pharaoh Creek. Alternate access routes are Sunshine Village, Egypt Lake and Highway 93 via Vista Lake or Hawk Creek.

Open: from Late June to Early October, mid-December to Early April. Open weekends only during January. Groups welcome.

Accommodations: This is a full service facility. All are log cabins private, with propane heat, feather duvet.
