Open: Closed Sunday to Wednesday from about Feb 1 to about May 15. Closed daily from about Oct 13 to about Dec 5 and from about Jan 4 to about Jan. 31.

Located 8 kms S of the Columbia Icefield, the hostel is operated by Hostelling International, and is a comfortable refuge for hikers, mountaineers and cross-country skiers. The Columbia Icefield is the largest sheet of sub-polar glacial ice in North America, covering 300 kms of mountain terrain, with melt waters feeding 3 oceans.

Accommodations: Sleeps 21, outdoor toilets, no indoor plumbing, water from a creek, woodburning sauna, outdoor campfire area, basic food supplies, bike rentals, linen charge, self-catering kitchen.

Check in:  8 a.m.- 10 a.m. and from 5-10 p.m.. check-out is 10 a.m.

Attractions: Cross-country skiing, telemarking, and hiking. Get a great view of the Saskatchewan Glacier from the Parker Ridge trail from behind the hostel.
