Open: The hostel is closed 2 nights a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays from about 10/11 to May.

The area is known for rock and ice climbing, and the hostel serves as a base camp for these activities in Rampart Creek Canyon.

Attractions: Bicycling the Icefields Parkway, day hikes to Glacier Lake, Sunset Lookout and Mistaya Canyon, ice climbing at the Weeping Wall, Murchison Falls, Ice Nine and Transparent Pool. Or hike on the Rampart Creek Trail.

Amenities: Sleeps up to 30, divided into 2 dorms, 1 male and 1 female, each with 15 beds. There is a wood-burning stoves, outdoor toilets and electric lights. Basic food supplies and a self-catering kitchen.

Check-in: is from 8-10 am and from 5-10 p.m. Check-out is 10 am.
