The hostel is operated by Hostelling International and offers spectacular sights on the Athabasca River system. The falls are still there since the first European viewed them 200 years ago. A glacier once occupied the canyon where you can see quartz and sandstone cutting back into the eons.

Accommodations:
Sleeps up to 40 in 3 different cabins. Equipped with propane heat and electric lights, outdoor toilets and water form a pump. There is a large dining area, common area with refrigerator. Basic food supplies sin summer. BBQ and firepit outside. Open daily from 8 am x Midnight. Check-in is at 8-10 am and 5-10 p.m, check out is 10 a.m.

Located 87 km S of Jasper and 17 km N of the Columbia Icefield Center, on W side of Highway 93.

The hostel is great for cyclists touring the Jasper-Banff Parkway overlooking the braided Sunwapta River with Stanley Falls and the Columbia Icefields nearby. The hostel is inside Jasper National Park, on the Beauty Creek, where explorers and natives camped for centuries. The creek descends 1,680 meters through limestone gorge into the Parkway Valley, with 8 waterfalls. The 8th fall is Stanley Falls the most spectacular.

Amenities:

Sleeps 24, divided into 2 sleeping cabins, with wood burning stoves, cooking area, no refrigerator, basic food supplies in summer. Campfire area, outdoor toilets, no indoor plumbing, with water from a creek. On-site parking.
