Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH) offers its Bodacious in the Bugaboos Package. The just-released book (2007), 50 Best Girlfriends Getaways in North America by Marybeth Bond, names the package as one of the best travel opportunities available for female adventurers. Participants will have the opportunity to hike along spectacular timberline trails, walk through wildflower-studded alpine meadows, or climb exhilarating mountain ridges accompanied by a knowledgeable and fully certified hiking guide.

After brief helicopter rides, remote regions of the Bugaboo range — with their spectacular terrain — are accessible to all levels of outdoor enthusiasts, beginners and experts alike. After a day of fresh mountain air and rejuvenating exploration, guests can unwind at the secluded and gorgeous CMH Bugaboo Lodge. Late-afternoon and evening activities might include a guided stretch and meditation followed by a dinner with great conversation among friends.

The package includes all ground transportation from Banff to the Bugaboo heli-port and back to Banff or Calgary; return helicopter transfers from the heli-port to the remote Bugaboo Lodge; three nights’ accommodation at the Bugaboo Lodge; two full days and one half day of guided Heli-Hiking; all meals starting from lunch on Sept. 7 through to breakfast on Sept. 10; use of CMH hiking gear including: boots, rain gear, wind pants, jacket, backpack, water bottle; daily yoga sessions with Angie Smith; and a bodacious host.
