Enter the Northwest Passage Marathon on Somerset Island in August. This is the most northerly-held marathon and reigns as the world’s most northerly ultra-marathon. You will participate under the arctic sun against the majestic backdrop of the historic Northwest Passage.

Go SCUBA diving under the icy blue glaciers. Try sea kayaking and canoeing, enjoy camping, (from igloos to otherwise!), hiking and climbing. There are floe edge tours, historic and cultural tours, dog sledding, world-class fishing, and so much, much more!

Stand in the ethereal lights of the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, a display of colored lights in the sky, caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole.
