This is a huge 388,512-hectare park, located 83 km North of Prince Albert, access from Highway 2, 263 and 264.
Park open year around, but many facilities and businesses operate on a seasonal basis., May through October. Reservations accepted for Beaver Glen and Trailer Park Campgrounds, April to September.
Preserve samples of boreal forest, prairie grasslands and aspen parkland, hiking, fishing, cycling, cross country skiing, canoeing, nature viewing, 18-hole golf course, lawn bowling, nature center, guided hikes, outdoor theaters, site of Grey Owl’s cabin.
Campsites: 76 electric, 333 non-electric, 152 with electric, sewer and water. Group camping.
