This beautiful state park is in Heber Valley, and is Utah’s most developed park. Tucked away in the Wasatch Mountains, the park is both a summer and winter wonderland, near one of Utah’s finest 36-hole golf course is found. There also is camping, picnicking, hiking and horseback riding. Snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are popular in winter. The park is ten minutes away from the winter and summer destination of Park City and Heber city and Midway. Park facilities include a 139 camping/picnicking area, two group-use pavilions, modern rec rooms, hot showers and utility hookups.

The park has a chalet that is rented out for groups only. The ranch-style building is complete with kitchen facilities, and is available for summer or winter activities. Little Deer Creek campground is an excellent area for summer group parties and reunions. Soldier Hollow Recreation Area at Wasatch mountain State Park is the site of the 2002 Olympic Biathlon. Check-in is 5 pm and check-out 10 am. Visa and MasterCard accepted.
